VICIPanel started as an internal tool for a multi-tenant hosted VICIdial operation. We got tired of telling customers to log into the 2010-era PHP UI. So we built something better.
Our thesis
VICIdial quietly runs most of the outbound call centers you've ever spoken to. It's the most-deployed open-source dialer in the world, TCPA-ready, and handles millions of minutes a day without flinching. The engine is incredible. The UI is from 2012.
Buyers today want the things VICIdial doesn't ship: modern UX, AI built into the workflow, real CRM sync that doesn't need a Zapier duct-tape job, and multi-tenant hosting that works for hosted service providers. Their options were either migrating to Five9 and paying four times as much, or locking into Convoso and accepting whatever they choose to build next.
So we built VICIPanel. Keep the VICIdial engine that actually works. Replace the UI. Add the AI layer nobody else has attempted. Run it for you on a dedicated instance so you never have to think about an upgrade. That's it. That's the whole thesis.
