VICIPanel's agent softphone runs entirely in the browser via WebRTC. No desktop app to install, no SIP client to configure. Your agents need a headset and a browser.
First-time login

Sign in to VICIPanel
app.vicipanel.com or your tenant's custom URL.

Navigate to the Agent workspace
If you land somewhere else, click Agent in the sidebar.

Allow microphone access
Browser prompts for mic permission. Click Allow. If you miss the prompt, the mic icon in the address bar lets you grant it after.

Softphone registers
Green checkmark in the top right means you're registered and ready to go Ready.
Headset check
Use the Mic Test button in the softphone controls. Speak at normal volume, the VU meter should hit the green zone. If it stays silent, check that your browser's microphone is set to your headset, not the laptop mic.
Supported browsers
Chrome, Edge, and Safari (latest versions). Firefox works but has occasional WebRTC glitches we don't fully control. Remote agents should use Chrome or Edge for stability.
